The staff is not only professional and efficient, but also super friendly. The three receptionists we've dealt with. A breakfast of true precision! The most enthusiastic good morning we have heard in a long time from the person in charge of the breakfast, which is also served in a very nice room. All the details for the traveller: the small snacks at the entrance, the water in the room, a very well-stocked fridge just in case. The bed, a delight. The Gothic restaurant, great, with a team also worthy of mention. In addition to bars, supermarket, pharmacy, gardens in the vicinity, a Burger King for those who bring children. A 10 minute walk from the door of Bisagra. EXCELLENT!
Perhaps the only detail that could make the clients' stay even better is the matter of the parking lot, which in Toledo is a real reason for "extortion" of the tourist, having obviously infinity of empty spaces all over the area of extramuros. Everything is blue, green or orange zone, or paid parking. Customers would feel even more cared for if the Hesperia, which pampers the customer so much, allowed parking in its facilities to cover places without making an extra charge.

The treatment received by Carlos, both at the check in and at the check out, was of the highest quality. His advice was very accurate and he had a couple of details to make my daughter's stay more comfortable that we appreciated very much. The breakfast was very complete (including gluten-free products and lactose free milk) and up to 12h, which is fantastic. I encourage the hotel to add fructose free products. The room was very comfortable, spacious, with a shower and a bath. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Puerta Bisagra, the entrance to the old town.
There is not a good place to eat around, one on the left is a very simple little bar and one on the right (connected to the hotel) is small and treatment a bit unfortunate: they wanted to give us a table in the street at 10º with a little girl... the warning that it would take at least 45min to eat. garage does not have direct access to the hotel.

I was excited about my stay, but was met with dirty rooms and an overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke. Is that really too much to ask for a clean space? I also expected some sort of compensatory upgrade due to these inconveniences. Unfortunately, I just couldn't find it in my heart to give a good review after all that.

kindness of the staff. cleanliness. Its location (you are near the hinge door, you can park well, it is very quiet), breakfast (very good), spaciousness of the room and architecture of the hotel.
shower, it's amazing that a hotel so careful in almost everything, keep a shower so badly designed. screen is unable to retain more than half of the water in the shower, other half goes to the floor, even comes out the bathroom door into the room (and trying to be careful with the tap, no maximum water pressure. After two showers in a row, we had all the towels on the floor soaking wet and a large pond in the room, missing the ducks. mattress is very good, side that touched me has a sill, you begin to notice the springs. At the moment it is not something exaggerated (my partner's side was better), it will demand a renovation sooner rather than later.

good service, in general lines, reception and cleaning, like the staff in breakfast, with very good schedule, (from 08. 00 to 12. 00) to be able to stay up late or to go to bed without being so attentive. Good and varied breakfast, of very good quality, although I missed to taste a good coffee, rest we loved. well conditioned, hotel and room itself, you could enjoy a very good rest, if the occasion required, good wine. good stuff, you pay for it. only thing missing from the room was a Jacuzzi. It has a parking service (not free), quite comfortable, to leave the car, without worrying about the rest, because in Toledo, better to walk around the city, if you are very tired, take a taxi that leaves very cheap, bus.
The forge head, which personally does not attract us at all, the views of the room, were not what we expected, as well as the unwelcome guests on duty, which I was about to call their attention to, for being past midnight, shouting and making noise, as if they were alone in the hotel, that there are always people who do not know how to be in the places.

Would stay here again
Had a huge room with air conditioning and a private bathroom. The electric kettle was handy for tea. Loved the tv and minibar. The shower was great with free toiletries. Quiet view from the room and very clean throughout. I enjoyed the soundproofing too alongside helpful wake-up service.

The location, next to the city center, but far enough to avoid the noise from the city. It also has a parking for the car.
If the guests talk in the corridor, it echoes to much.

great location but missed dining options
The staff were cute and provided great tips for exploring the area. Our superior room was expansive and was awesome for the price. The nearby park added a lovely touch for morning walks and coffee breaks. I also appreciated the excellent variety offered at breakfast. It set a positive tone for the day.
There was no bar in the hotel, disappointing during the evenings.

Value for money.
Insufficient lighting in the bathtub/shower section. Slippery bathtub inner surface. Some day someone will get hurt in there.

Quietness
The wifi was poor. Reception was variable and you had to log in each time the phone was turned on. The system is not from 2012!
